The Kuari Pass is a beautiful trek situated in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. It is a heaven and delightful experience for mountain lovers and nature enthusiasts due to its location. The Kuari Pass Trek was first discovered and explored by Lord Curson during the period of British rule in India. As discovered by Lord Curson, the trek is often referred as ‘Curson Trail’. 

Kauri Pass Trek offers adventurers a captivating blend of stunning landscapes, rich biodiversity, and cultural immersion. Starting from the charming village Karchi, trekkers ascend through lush forests of oak, rhododendron, and pine, while gradually gaining altitude to reveal breathtaking views of towering peaks like Nanda Devi, Kamet, Dronagiri, Hathi- Ghori Parbat, Chaukhamba and Neelkanth. The pass itself, situated at an elevation of around 4,600 meters, provides a panoramic vista that leaves trekkers in awe. Day 1 – Drive from Rishikesh to Karchi Village base camp.
Day 2 – Trek from Karchi Village base Camp to Gulling base camp.
Day 3 – Trek from Gulling base camp to Khulara base camp.
Day 4 – Trek from Khulara base camp to Kuari Pass summit and back to Khulara base camp.
Day 5 – Trek back to Karchi base camp from Khulara base camp.
Day 6 – Drive back to Rishikesh from Karchi base camp.
